Did you know Camper has its roots in the very foundation of Mallorca’s legendary shoemaking industry and tradition? Founder Lorenzo Fluxà’s grandfather, a cobbler, introduced a wave of industrial innovation to Mallorca when he travelled to England in 1877 to bring back the Spanish island’s very first sewing machines. In 1975, Lorenzo launched Camper in Mallorca in response to the 70’s demand for fresh footwear styles that blended sophisticated refinement and relaxed casual wearability. Today Camper is sold in over forty countries worldwide, and is run by the fourth generation of Fluxà footwear innovators.
