Frye

Frye is a fashion icon. In fact, the brand is America's oldest continuously operating footwear manufacturer. The brand begins in 1863, when John A. Frye opened up a small shop in Marlborough, Massachusetts dedicated to practical and hardy boots. The first in-house Frye boot was crafted in 1988. The brand became part of fashion history throughout the twentieth century with cowboy boots in the 1940s, military combat boots sent over seas during WWII, the Half Wellington “Jet Boots” in the 1950s, the iconic Harness Boot in the 1960s, the classic Campus Boot in the 1970s, and the moto-inspired Engineer boot collection in the 1990s.
