Dress-up for the grown-up set. All the classic details of an oxford perched on a coquettish, chunky heel. Waxy laces for authenticity. An upturned toe? Just the right amount of attitude.
Our Fabulous customer wrote this, a story of a women and her shoes!
I have just come back from the Atlanta Gift show, the largest show of its kind in North America. It is a busy, intense 6 days of smiling, standing and selling all on concrete floors, from 8 am to 8 pm! I took only one pair of shoes, my beloved black Hasbeens boots and my feet were perfectly happy the entire trip. Even at the end of a long selling day I felt no rush to get my shoes off. In fact my feet felt so good it was like the day was just beginnning. I just wish I could have said that about how my hair or clothes looked! But my boots I absolutely love them. I am asked daily " Where they are from, do I like them, are they comfortable and basically how cute they are". I say, "I don't just like them, I love them". I think in my entire 51 years of living I have never loved a pair of boots or shoes more. Never! They are more comfortable than any other shoe I have worn. If I had to take only one pair of shoes or boots to do a month long tour of Europe, knowing that both comfort and style were critical I would take my Swedish Hasbeens for sure. These boots are worth every penny and my next plan is to buy a pair in red! You know what they say if a shoe fits buy it in every colour, well in this case I agree wholeheartedly! Bravo to the mind that thought these up as I feel personally in your debt. xo :)

New Swedish "The Combat Boot" in Black This chrome-free model is hand-made in the traditional way with genuine natural grained leather and a lime-tree wooden sole. It is 7 cm (2.8 inches) high and really comfortable.
The high-quality leather will be harder in the beginning but will quickly soften and stretch with wear. Please note that natural leather if fully soaked will stretch a lot!
The rubber sole is glued to the wood. It will loosen with time since wood is a natural living material so please check it every now and then and put on some glue if necessary. The wooden sole is sensitive to water so be cautious in the rain. Enjoy your Hasbeens!!
The roper is a true cowboy invention: more agile than a standard western, but no less stylish nor hard-wearing. Our Jayden is the exemplar. Stone pummeled soles authenticate. Pull straps top Jayden off. Get along, little doggie. Features and dimensions:
